Career Edge Career Edge is a not-for-profit organization that launched Canada ’ s youth internship program, in 1996. Since its inception, Career Edge has worked closely with over 850 employers to provide meaningful entry-level work experience for more than 5,700 young Canadians across the full spectrum of Canada ’ s business community. Career Edge functions as the interns' employer, with the participating companies acting as "hosts" for the internship. All Career Edge internships are designed to have four common elements - employment experience, learning, coaching, and networking. Combined, these elements bring the concept of Career Edge to life and serve to foster a mutually rewarding relationship between interns and the Host organizations. Career Bridge is an innovative program that offers paid internships for internationally qualified professionals who have a minimum 3 years international work experience, who are new to Canada and are ready and qualified to apply their skills to the Canadian workplace.
